The El’ Shaddai Christian Church Incorporated Ministries was founded in October 2005. Our first service was held in January 2006 and having obtained help from the Lord, we abide until now.

God gave Pastor Joyce the name El’ Shaddai for the church as it was a perpetual ringing in her spirit. El’ Shaddai (Hebrew) means God Almighty, All Sufficient, The Breasted-One.

We believe in “Old School” Church, as Jeremiah declared in Jeremiah 6 vs 16-19, Stand ye in the ways and see, ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein. GOD’s way of Holiness and Righteousness in a modern day 21st century time never changes because Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever more.

With a Pastor’s heart to continuously be a blessing to the community, our Annual Community Outreach of Love is a year round outreach where we extend arms of love to Men, Women and Children with FREE clothes, shoes and coats.

We also take the Gospel of Jesus Christ out from the 4 walls of the Church to the streets and proclaim to the unchurched, “our target audience,” the irrefutable WORD OF GOD “without compromise.” We believe the WORD is the WORD and it doesn’t need our personal theory or opinion.

Our Annual “Back To School LOVE Outreach” allows the ministry the opportunity to sow seed into the lives of our community children by giving away backpacks, school supplies and much prayer mixed with a lot of LOVE. “We still believe that the MIND is a terrible thing to waste and for that reason we encourage children to know that “you are as powerful as the powerful thought that you have about yourself.”

Our FOOD Outreach Ministry has given ESCC the opportunity to feed hundreds of persons in need every Saturday with FREE soup/or chili and sandwich. Through this outreach we can open the doors to witness, distribute tracks, pray with and for those that request it who would normally not attend weekly services. God is LOVE and his LOVE is free.

Our most rewarding outreach in 2017 was the formation of our “Babies R’ Loved Outreach,” a non-profit organization that gives the ministry a wonderful opportunity to bless infants in the community ages (0-12 months) with new infant clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, bibs, socks, non-perishable foods and all things infants. These necessities are provided via an El’ Shaddai Care Package to single community moms for the health and well being of their babies. Jesus said, suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the Kingdom of heaven (Mathew 19 vs 14).

As believers we always give thanks to God in all things and during Thanksgiving season our ministry reaches out to the community to sponsor families in need with Harvest Time Blessings. We were favored by the Lord to have Baltimore Ravens, “Matt Judon” visit and join with our church in the distributing of Thanksgiving Turkeys in 2017. Many hearts were made glad.

Psalm 127-1 says, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. We don’t want any of our ministry labour to be in vain, all that we do is in the Will of God according to his Word.
